2019 STUDENT-ATHLETE ALUMNI REUNION

Welcome Back, Golden Bears!

Cal Athletics is honored to host the inaugural Student-Athlete Alumni Reunion. We are inviting over 10,000 of our exceptional student-athlete alumni back to campus during homecoming - October 18, 19, & 20, 2019.

Come together and reconnect with former teammates, friends, and coaches while partaking in a variety of events throughout the weekend, including cheering on our Golden Bears football team as they take on Oregon State.

Register by October 1, 2019, and remind your teammates to do the same. We look forward to seeing you on campus. Go Bears!

Free Weekend Festivities

Student-athlete alumni are invited to join all of the weekend Cal Athletics festivities for free. Guests will need to purchase tickets to most of the events. The Friday evening welcome reception is free for student-athlete alumni and their guests.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 18

3:30 PM-4:30 PM Panel / Learning Opportunity

"High Performance Athletic Lessons to Inspire You" with Director of Athletics Jim Knowlton, Women's Swimming & Diving Coach Teri McKeever, and Rugby Head Coach Jack Clack

Location: Field Club, California Memorial Stadium

The University of California’s Athletic Department strives to build a consistent culture of excellence for approximately 850 student-athletes in 30 varsity athletic programs. Cal’s elite coaches utilize strategies to build leaders that will succeed long after student-athletes have donned the blue and gold in competitive arenas. Join Cal Director of Athletics Jim Knowlton and nationally-regarded head coaches Teri McKeever and Jack Clark to learn how sports high performance leadership and motivational strategies can inspire you to pursue excellence in your personal and professional aspirations.

*Purchase Class Pass ($25 per person, free for current Cal students or kids age 4 and under) for the opportunity to attend Lectures and Learning Opportunities throughout Homecoming Weekend. Enjoy light appetizers and beverages while connecting with student-athletes from your time at Cal, and mingle with Golden Bears from other graduating classes. Meet the current head coaches for Cal's 30 intercollegiate athletics programs.

Location: Tailgate Town at Maxwell Field, California Memorial Stadium

Revel in game-day festivities with student-athlete alumni from all sports! Wear your blue and gold, and join us for food, beverages, music, and family-friendly activities.

11:30 AM Cal Football vs Oregon State

Location: California Memorial Stadium

Cal battles Oregon State in a Pac-12 match-up. Last season in Corvallis, Patrick Laird rushed for a season-high 193 yards and scored three touchdowns to lead the Bears to a 49-7 route of the Beavers. There will be on-field recognition for national and conference championships won in years ending in 8s and 9s (between the 1st and 2nd quarters).

As we celebrate 150 years of women at Berkeley, interact with other female Cal student-athletes to build your network across a variety of industries.

10:30 AM Brunch with the Director of Athletics, Jim Knowlton

Location: University Club, California Memorial Stadium

Enjoy lunch with Director of Athletics Jim Knowlton, and learn more about his vision to build on the championship culture that has led to 46 straight years of the Bears winning at least one national title. Exceptional student-athlete experiences in athletics, academics, and personal growth are at the heart of Knowlton's plans for the department.
